Jersey-based cloud provider, Calligo, has successfully completed the Service Organisation Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 audit, which is designed to deliver information and assurance about the controls affecting the security and availability of their cloud services.

Conducted by KPMG, the audit affirms that Calligo’s information security practices, policies, procedures and operations meet the SOC 2 Type 1 compliance requirements for the principles of security and availability , which is an important validation of these controls for the firm's customers in highly regulated industries.

"Calligo has always put information security and governance at the forefront of everything we do and obtaining the SOC 2 Type 1 certification reinforces an ongoing commitment to the security and availability of our products and services," said Julian Box, CEO at Calligo.

"As more and more businesses rely on us to help perform core business operations, it’s essential that our clients have transparency into our policies and procedures."
